Professional Experience
He has been performing professionally since 2007, sharing the stage with world-renowned musicians such as Wynton Marsalis, Arturo O’Farrill, Paquito D’Rivera, Chucho Valdés, Anat Cohen, Rudresh Mahanthappa, Miguel Zenón, Jeff “Tain” Watts, David Murray, Cándido Camero, Olga Tañón, Bobby Carcasses, among others. He has played in some of the top venues of New York including Birdland, Symphony Space, Rainbow Room, Dizzy’s Jazz Club Coca-Cola, David Rubenstein Atrium, Zinc Bar, Subrosa, ShapeShifter Lab, among many others. He has also been a guest lecturer at the University of California, Riverside on Cuban music and Jazz. In March 2016, he was selected as a finalist for the National Trumpet Competition.
Teaching & Other Details
I plan my lessons to deliver an individualized approach to teaching. I ask several questions to the student to see what the goals are for the student and then go from there. I use all my own materials and also music lesson books that suit the style of music that the student wants to learn.
Availability
I'm flexible and I can adapt to the student's schedule.
