Professional Experience
I'm primarily a gigging musician with experience in many genres of music. I was resident pianist in a 5 star hotel from the age of 19 till 26 when I moved to Vancouver from Ireland. I am a songwriter and I have also produced albums for other songwriters in Ireland. I have professional experience in both a studio and live sound environment and own a small home studio set up.
Teaching & Other Details
My lessons will be slightly different to the normal classical approach. I aim to teach students how to be a versatile musician who can think on their feet. As well as learning to read sheet music students will be trained to use their ears and read chord charts, which are more useful in the popular music setting.
