Teaching & Other Details
I have a very strong approach towards technique and developing good habits while playing the piano, especially for younger students (around 6 years of age.) I am very stern about this because of the bad habits I constantly see in older players, which I know can be fixed as early as 6 years of age. Each student has their own way of learning in the quickest, most efficient way. It is up to the teacher to decide how to enter the stream of thought, and consistently use a method that will bring the student's learning progress and potential to a higher level than before. I believe that music is not just simply an art that people do for fun; it has been studied and proven that an education in music is a very powerful tool for educing young children to be much more capable of other tasks in the future.
Availability
Preferably after 5pm during weekdays, and any time during the weekend.
Preferred Teaching Place
At my home in Scarborough, or will travel to homes in a group.
