Hey! Come join the fun! I've been teaching for a decade on violin, viola, and cello (classical, Suzuki, fiddle, Celtic/Cape Breton/American, improvising styles etc.) I have a degree in Music Education and several years classroom teaching experience, but ALWAYS tailor the lessons to the student.

Professional Experience
I am currently working as a full time musician and music educator in Toronto. I am a freelance violist, violinist and cellist who has had the good fortune to play and record with Juno nominated musicians, tour the US and Canada festival circuits, and perform on national CBC radio broadcasts. I continue to enjoy orchestral repertoire as well as rock, jazz, and a plethora of world music.
Teaching & Other Details
One of my biggest joys has been to teach strings in classrooms and to develop new string pedagogy ideas that connect with real children and light a similar spark in them that was lit for me in my own elementary school string class. After finishing my Music Education degree at the University of Victoria, I have initiated several of my own startup string programs in schools, led workshops and clinics across the country, and co-led a portion of the National Youth Fiddle Project, "The Twisted String."
