I am a professional vocalist and workshop developer and instructor. I co wrote with my music collective (Womyn of Indigo) the "Acoustic Flow" workshop series that has been funded by Ontario Arts Council. We have successfully guided young woman in writing and performing their own songs, while also giving them opportunities to perform on festival stages and local radio.

Professional Experience
-Studied and performed regularly with Masters of Jazz from York and UofT alumni Demetri Petsalakis, Jay Sussman and Ken McDonald. 2007-2014 -Released debut EP of original music, that is in rotation on CBC radio and local radio. -Have performed in large festivals and stages in Toronto, including the Waterfront Festival, Live Green, Yonge- Dundas Square, Hard Rock Cafe, El Mocombo, Opera House and more. -Hired regularly as a jazz/rnb vocalist for private, corporate and special events. -Successfully taught and designed singing/songwriting workshop "Acoustic Flow" for young woman age 11-18 that has been funded by the Ontario Arts Council.
Teaching & Other Details
I work with each student individually in finding their "own voice" and unique musical expression. I help strengthen students vocal weak points and, and help them to sing with ease, comfort and confidence through the use of handcrafted scales, and specially designed vocal exercises. I also help students with songwriting, by teaching forms of structure, language and literary tools. I guide them in fully express their art to the best of their ability by incorporating performance techniques and catering each lesson to the needs and wants of the individual.
