Professional Experience
12 years of independent practice as a freelance composer (post-studies). Taught electroacoustic music composition at McGill University, including design of a new syllabus. 15 years of private instruction in composition, sound recording, electronic music. Regularly invited to give guest lectures, masterclasses, and workshops at universities and conservatories around the world.
Teaching & Other Details
I teach at all experience levels and tailor my lessons to each student's personal goals and projects. Depending on the topic and the student's goals, I can develop assignments and/or provide feedback on projects you are working on. I believe that music can be created without too much specialized equipment and encourage skills that don't depend on specific software or devices. That said, I have considerable experience with many platforms and am happy to help students with specific goals in: -Sibelius -REAPER -Recording Devices -Logic -Max/MSP -Reason
