Teaching & Other Details
My favorite things about teaching music revolve around empowering students to be musically self-guided. Although I see it as the music instructor's role to expand student's musical horizons by introducing a range of music and providing both technical and theoretical training, I have found that the way we approach music practice and performance is a reflection of how we share ourselves with the world. Some of my teaching goals involve fostering curious, persevering and receptive attitudes towards learning, skill development and musical exploration.
