Music degree from Humber College. Majored in drum kit. 2 years studying classical percussion at Dalhousie University in Halifax. Received private piano lessons for 2 years in Halifax (RCA Program) Took classes in Classical and jazz piano at Dalhousie and Humber respectively. Studied Violin for 6 years, attaining grade 6 in Halifax (RCA Program).
Professional Experience
Taught guitar and piano for the past 3 years at Degazon music in Mississauga and Oakville. Taught for Firefly music lessons from September 2013 to June 2014.
Teaching & Other Details
I am sensitive to students individual needs as budding musicians. Every student has particular needs based on age and skill level. I am adaptable to these considerations. At the same time I think working within a given curriculum is important and gives an element of discipline students need. I think instilling passion in the students and being a source of inspiration for them is of utmost importance. I prefer the Suzuki method for violin.
