I have also performed at private parties for Concordia University. Currently, I have a permit from the city of Montreal as a busker which is how I have earned a living for the last two summers.
Teaching & Other Details
I believe that with the right teacher and a healthy amount of discipline, anybody has the ability to develop as a musician. I also believe in tailoring my teaching methods to the needs and preferences of the student. For example, I would have a different approach to teaching someone who would like to play music as a hobby than I would with someone who would like to develop professionally as an artist. However, even with a certain amount of tailoring, there are constants in my approach to learning music in a holistic way. One example is in regards to technique. No matter what kind of dedication a student is willing to put into their instrument or their voice, there is a minimal level of technique that must be learned before any sort of unique ability is developed.
Availability
My hours are rather flexible since I am self employed. However, I do prefer weekdays after 6pm.
Preferred Teaching Place
At a studio or in the student's home if the proper equipment is available.
