Guitar and bass guitar player with two years of private music instruction as well as time tutoring in writing and university level subjects. Excellent for beginners and semi-intermediates who want to learn how to play chords, lead lines, riffs, and other essential components of guitar playing. Also can instruct on music theory, composition, and improvisation in a variety of styles including rock, metal, jazz, blues, and funk.

Received private instruction to develop skills from a number of excellent guitar players around BC. Also had extensive music training throughout high school, playing in over seven official groups.

Two years of one-on-one private guitar and bass guitar instruction with youths aged 10-16. A year of university level tutoring in writing and other subject areas.

Goal-oriented teaching approach guided by student desired outcomes. Achieve results by breaking larger goals into smaller, more achievable goals. Aimed at utilizing simple yet effective practice habits for yielding useful progress.
