Teaching & Other Details
The first time I meet someone I ask a lot of questions for 2 reasons: establish a comfortable relationship and the need for me to understand the person's ambition and what they want to learn and also how they learn. I then adapt my approach. I believe in a strong technical approach so that the student can then make up their own mind and not be limited as to what they want to play. When it comes to songwriting I ask them to come prepared with a couple of ideas and then I help tidying them up and doing a workshop on them
Availability
My schedule varies from week to week. I'm generally flexible, within reason. The only off-limit day is Sunday
