Professional Experience
Leah Plave has performed extensively as a chamber musician and recitalist throughout North America and Eastern Europe. She received her Bachelor of Music degree at The University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music and the Franz Liszt Academy of Music under the tutelage of Yehuda Hanani and Csaba Onczay. An avid chamber musician, she has collaborated with artists such as the Taconic Chamber Players and Trio Solisti, and is a founding member of the Wang piano quartet, with whom she will tour Europe in 2018. Leah is also a Lincoln Center Stage artist and will perform in a piano quintet in partnership with Holland Cruise Line. Since beginning her private studio in 2008, she has taught lessons to musicians of all ages. Leah has served on the faculty of MYCincinnati, a music program for inner-city youth in Price Hill, and taught during Manchester Music Festival’s “Music Discovery Week.”
